If you want to do a trekking to test your physical condition and enjoy nature, Santuario El Cañi is the ideal place.

After a gentle walk, you pass through Laguna las Totoras where the first Araucaria are sighted, following the path you reach Laguna Negra walking through 2,000-year-old forests of Coigües, Lengas and Araucarias to finish the trekking at the Mirador ( 1,550 masl) where there is a 360º panoramic view. From the place you can see 4 volcanoes (Villarrica, Quetrupillan, Lanín and Llaima), two lakes (Villarrica and Caburgua) and the valleys around the park. In addition to visiting El Mirador there is the alternative of walking the trail of the Cañi Lagoons that begins in Laguna Negra and you can cover 6 lagoons along a quiet path through the araucaria forest and then start back along the same path.
